About the Work

On the fourth day of the war, the feelings of fear and despair were so strong that I thought I had to do at least something that could help me and others. At moments like this there are two things that can help me a little: art, and the realization that I am not alone in all this. So I wanted to share with others a little graphic novel – it's one of those things that I felt a really deep inner urge to draw. I tried to put in this small piece what I feel and what I believe many people around me and in poor Ukraine are feeling right now, because we all are walking through the same forest.

It's a hard time but I keep reminding myself that even though I might not have a home anymore, but I still have my brains, knowledge and skills and I am also a lucky one because these dark times demonstrated to me that I'm truly surrounded by unbelievably warm, kind people. And that helps a bit.
